The ShareLingo Method
The ShareLingo concept is really simple. Instead of learning from a whiteboard or a computer, we help English learners meet Spanish learners for face-to-face practice together. A bilingual facilitator uses our method and materials to keep things moving so you are never bored.
Each meeting, led by the facilitator, is divided into 3 parts.
- In the first session (about 30 minutes), the group will review the previous class and preview this class’ vocabulary.
- In the second session (about 1 hour), you will break up into pairs who help each other one-on-one. It’s like having a private tutor.
- In the third session (about 30 minutes), the group gets back together to interact and solidify what was learned.
- Between meetings, the students have free access to Schoology, an online platform where they can review additional material for the course. Students are also encouraged to work with each other via phone, Facebook, Skype, FaceTime, etc. to reinforce the vocabulary sessions.
It’s That Simple!
There are many ways to learn a new language, including university courses, community centers, language schools, online programs, and with products such as Rosetta Stone or Duolingo. But then what? With immersion-style Spanish classes at ShareLingo in the Denver area, we help you get the most out of the vocabulary and phrases that you are learning by giving you an opportunity to PRACTICE.
